I visited another thrift shop in Tahoe called Bargains Galore. There are a handful of thrift shops in South Shore and this was my first time to visit. My mindset when thrifting is to give each and every shop a chance because you will never know what you’ll find.
When thrifting, you should be positive and not be affected by how the shop looks, the people shopping, the staff or how things are organized. If you go past that then you’re most likely to have a great chance of finding something. What if you’re on the lookout for nice teacups but feel overwhelmed by the space? Or you’ve been dying to own a pair of nude two inch heels but since the staff did not smile at you when you came in, you bolted. You would have missed your hidden treasure if you let all of these get in your way of your search.
I forgot to bring home the tray with me so I was not able to take a photo and kept on failing to remember to bring it home! But it looks similar to this.
The jackets are fun and colorful too, don’t you think?
This is how I styled one of the floral jackets. I tried to give myself a high five, thinking it was a success!
Good luck in your next thrifting adventures! Let me know if my tip works for you or not.
